Go to any other major city and there’s garbage and vandalism everywhere even in the nicest parts, you’re a crybaby.
I don't live in the River Market and maybe you could add something constructive other than name calling? Defending taggers makes you part of the problem.

Let's forego the personal attacks.

Also pretty sure John isn't a yuppie (no offense John).

Defending tagging and littering is a weird hill to die on. Yes, it's common in most cities and so is dog shit. It doesn't make it desirable or good.

I am sure that project will be just fine but those renderings on the inside with the surfaces and the black silhouettes that were supposed to be people were really dystopian and depressing looking.

I'm particularly fond of the aperature-inappropriate halo around the florescent light fixtures.

I thought theGYMkc was moving their River Market location into the renovation, but maybe that's off the table?

I am thinking the gym may end up on the first floor and this listing is just for the second floor.

Made in KC’s trolley cafe gets a new driver: Iconic Kansas City brand set to reopen space in August

After being approached by Made In KC about the opportunity, Donutology will take over the trolley cafe July 17 and begin the rebranding process, said founder and owner Andrew Cameron, noting he hopes to open in early August.

The donut shop plans to serve its signature mini donuts — which will be cooked on site — plus its full donut and espresso bar lineup.

There’s a severe lack of dedicated donut establishments, so this is welcome news

Never tried them, so I’ll at least give ‘em a shot. Are they trying too hard to be “craft style”, similar to the likes of VooDoo donut types?

They’re tiny kind of like the Hostess in a bag but don’t taste that good.

Donutology will be a fun add to the area. Though they are more a fun dessert place first donut shop second. I like their mini donut creations. I agree a good donut shop is needed downtown. Lamar’s or local Lamar’s spin-off. Surely there could be some pastry chef that wants to start a fun/funky/trendy type donut shop RiverMarket/downtown/crossroads area

Just a hunch, but I suspect they would never pick such a location because parking.
