With a future cap and buildings surrounding the cap here, wouldn't it make sense to have restaurants and shops on the ground floors of all the buildings that are encircling the cap park?

There is a ground floor retail space on the corner that faces the potential park

Which corner?

SE corner. It was put in to try and appease neighbors asking for more ground level activation.
I agree with you it would be nice to have retail space lining the park. I don't think what they added is really what you had in mind.

I really hope that the crane remains up this weekend. It doesn't look like there's much for the crane to do anymore which is why I worry if it'll come down before I make it there. I'm coming to town and will fly my drone up to get a view of the 3 Light and WR crane together.

I was in town recently. I was really surprised how diminutive this building appears from most of KC's better skyline viewpoints. Hard to really notice except for a few angles and not very noticeable from the south at all. I thought it would be more prominent.

That's a good sign. We need more underbrush density in our skyline.

Great pics. Still not sure about the big blank walls, but I'm sure it will end up fine, especially after four light is built.

Tenant interest is local. Not catching the eye of National relocations.

How heavily is it being advertised to companies outside the area though?

^With vacancies rising in pretty much all major markets any company moving will likely consider many markets and a few dozen have better air service than KC. If a company specifically is interested in KC already, they'll know this building is available.

Wait, I thought we were told companies would be lining up to come downtown if there was just a class A spec space ready to go? Kidding aside, Bob Fagan with CBRE is marketing the space. He has about as good of national connections as anyone else. The turmoil at the EDC might not be helping though.
