There was one post after the Oakland game, which was meant to be more of a joke than complaining. You can't get much "less" than that.

Yep, definitely was an invisible ampersand after that one post.

Didn't need one since "turd birds" is a term normally used to refer to the Royals. Using it as joke is implied. Even if it wasn't a joke....it was one post that wasn't complaining about anything specific. And that's a "bitch fest" (as macnw called it)?

Watch it. That's darn close to being a bitchy post.

It was a joke. Chiefs are still on track to make the playoffs, but the schedule gets a lot tougher from here on out. Now they really have to beat the Chargers and Cards - both winnable games, but they have to take care of business.

Since we're not allowed to say anything bad about the Chiefs, let's talk about how they're going to win the Super Bowl this season.

Everyone pretty much pegged this as a loss, so no reason to panic yet.

They have 1 more seemingly easy win left (against Oakland at home), with 3 games against teams that will be tough to win, but are winnable (at ARI, at PIT, vs SD)

My guess is they take 2 of 3 and that SD game becomes a "playoff game" that, even if they win, they may find themselves needing help that day.

Winnable game, but you can't turn the ball over on the road.

So pass interference rules are batshit. To recap:
1. Fasano runs into the linebacker in coverage
2. Linebacker falls down
3. Linebacker gets up
4. Linebacker and Fasano run in opposite directions for a few seconds
5. Fasano catches a TD 25 yards from where the linebacker is standing
6. Fasano then gets flagged for pass interference.

If the other tight end just rolls over and secures the ball instead of trying to get up and do his cool first down celebration, the game could have ended better for the Chiefs.

Watching this offense try and execute a last minute drive was pretty painful. Was there any point during that drive that they looked like they could get the ball down field?

Alternately, the referees could just not allow "fumble recoveries" to count when said "recoveries" occur after they whistle the ball dead.

I agree - the refs upstairs - or wherever they are - completely screwed that up. There was more to be decided on that play than "did the ball start moving before he hit hit the ground". It appears that, and the "clear recovery" were all they looked at. All I'm sayin' is, don't put the refs in the position to decide it for you.

I think they get him back if they make the playoffs. I assume he's being limited due to knee / ankle issues that they don't want to aggravate. I don't know whether anyone's actually said that, but given how he spent some time limping around last week I wouldn't be surprised.
