This building looks great along Westport Rd. I haven't gotten as good of a look from Broadway, but I'm thinking it will turn out well also.

So in other words, about anyone

That’s a massive bonus for a lot of people. Being near the life of the party

I don't see how it would be any different from living next to PnL or any of the apartments that already surround westport that are full.

I like living in cities in buildings rather than houses. Not everyone wants to live in a house

You do know you’re on an urbanism forum right?

Absolutely. Would be nicer if they added some street trees around this building along the sidewalks.

It's funny because there's people on this forum who want to build row homes inside downtown. The same scale of homes that have been built in Shoal Creek

urbanism doen't exclude commenting on the size of a project

I'm far from uninterested in living urban, but ignoring price, almost nothing constructed in recent years would be big enough for us. There's a need for bigger units in the urban core so people don't see moving away as the only option when they have a kid. It's not zero but a mix of more sizes would be smart.

This is a contributing reason why teardowns are so bad, because most of them are larger than what is rebuilt.

The streetscape is not finished. I am hoping new trees are in the plans.

I really love the metal grill-work they added to the building. It makes the building standout and not seem so lego-like

As far as "budget modern" apartment buildings go, this is pretty good.
