B&b just isn't as good of an experience as Alamo. Glad to have a local though

How come the escalators never run there?
That is part of the money they've put into it. They've been back to working now for a month or so I'm told. I guess parts aren't just laying around for 15 year old escalators and it's several hundred an hour in labor to work on them. Between escalators and elevators, I'd encourage any young person to go into the business. Big money and very few people or companies out there to service them.

That's weird. Seems like escalators last decades w/o major replacement so you'd think the manufacturers support with parts for a long time.

Yep, and crazy that BOTH portions of escalator went down at the same time... in both directions! There has to be foul play involved here!

The parts required to fix were items like fly wheels, handrails and drive sheaves. All were not off the shelf parts, but custom made per order and you guessed it, there was a lengthy wait time and the company is located overseas.

How does the P&L district handle events like the Super Bowl? I would think that there would be far more people that want to be there than the place can accommodate? Is it hard to get in for major events like this?

People need to purchase a ticket to enter the event.

The following says it costs $25, but more to reserve a table:

I believe for World Cup we had to "buy" free tickets. No cost but helped with crowd control.

Great pics, thanks. I walked through way after the parade/rally was over at like 5pm and it was the remnants still rolling out (and by the looks of 70% of them, they should have left earlier lol)
