Maybe it is because I am feeling real good right now. So, given that, this could be a good year for the Royals, at least compared to the last few years. I don't see a big disaster nor a year like 2003 but a year of 75 wins or more.
I may be right. I may be wrong. But there is a lot of gray area in-between.

Did yesterday curb your enthusiasm.

Not at all. Yesterday was just one game and there were a lot of positives--as well as the usual Royals negatives (2 errors on one play? )
I agree with the previous assessment.
"It's only when you leave Kansas City do you realize truly how great a city it is. ... If you have to go away, go away for a while. You'll be back. And when you come back, bring your ideas and willingness to make Kansas City the best."- Sly James
Well, now they are 2-1. True, 3 games do not make a season in baseball but these two wins looked good in that they stayed in the game. Even the loss was just a foul ball away from a win.
So still feeling good.

Great to see the team fight back in this series. Granted, the Angels bullpen was horrendous, but still.
And hey, back-to-back games where our rookie pitchers get their first major league win. Crow yesterday. And Tim Collins pitched 3 innings striking out 5. He is nasty!

Yeah, I'd like to see Collins in the starting rotation this season and Davies moved to middle relief.
