I was just saying that more people in KC will vote. It will be better than this 50/50 crap we get on this site.Hull-Os wrote: [turn on sarcasm meter] Yes, an unscientific Internet poll that does not take a random sample of the KC metro areas' demographic will tell us exactly what the general public wants...
The Kansas City Star reported today that their polling is 50/50 also.Hull-Os wrote: [turn on sarcasm meter] Yes, an unscientific Internet poll that does not take a random sample of the KC metro areas' demographic will tell us exactly what the general public wants...
...as well as *probably* be supported by the whole state, not just the KC area.NorthLeawood4 wrote: I broke the tie with my vote, and NBA now has 29 and NHL has 28. If any professional sport is not for kids, it's NBA basketball.NorthLeawood4 wrote: I broke the tie with my vote, and NBA now has 29 and NHL has 28. I personally think either would be awesome, though basketball would draw more to kids around here who would drag their parents to the games.

Yeah, but that's been locked at 44/56 since the day it went live. I'm skeptical.Hull-Os wrote: The vote is now on www.sprintcenter.com

great reasoning...AllThingsKC wrote: The NHL is a poopy head! The NBA's daddy can beat up the NHL's daddy!
The vote is still 44/56. I wonder if they are just doing that to make an NHL team seem like we want them.Kard wrote: Yeah, but that's been locked at 44/56 since the day it went live. I'm skeptical.
That is what I'm wondering. Maybe they're MUCH closer to getting an NHL team over an NBA team.KansasCityCraka wrote: The vote is still 44/56. I wonder if they are just doing that to make an NHL team seem like we want them.
I would assume they would be closer to landing a deal with the NHL since there are so many teams looking to relocate within the next year or two.AllThingsKC wrote: That is what I'm wondering. Maybe they're MUCH closer to getting an NHL team over an NBA team.
I'm betting it's a software bug with the website. I wouldn't read too much in to it.KansasCityCraka wrote: The vote is still 44/56. I wonder if they are just doing that to make an NHL team seem like we want them.
