The building owner and operator of the building as an event space, passed away three weeks ago.
This must have been in the works, but doesn't seem to be a move John would have negotiated.

The Poco's spot is just a Minsky's, right?
There is a joint Eggstc/Minsky's opening (or that has already opened) near the Plaza.
I'm excited for this building to become more active, but a breakfast/lunch place won't do much to keep the corner alive in the evening.

There are a Minsky's and an Eggsct in the strip mall at Renner and Midland. The Eggsct doubles as an event space in the evenings with Minsky's doing the catering. Cheesy strip mall event space, but not a bad business plan.
