I think you're right there. I'm also surprised Huckabee is winning anything. I had forgot that he was still in the race
Romney's camp has been pleading with him to drop out, b/c he's killing Mitt's campaign right now. The Florida debacle was caused by Huckabee winning in the panhandle.
If Mitt takes CA tomorrow, he's in fine shape and the race will turn into a coin flip. If not.....may be too late to get to Texas-Ohio next month. Either way, Huckabee needs to go. Yesterday.
Anyone vote yet in Missouri? I'm hearing on the radio there is awesome turnout.
i voted just after 8 a.m. decent turnout at our lady of sorrows, which pretty much represents 64108 (crossroads, hospital hill, etc.). all the kansans i talked to at work are really confused about what to do.

I voted about 8:30 and was the only person there. If the counter on the ballot box represents the number of ballots cast then I was #17. However 4 people arrived as I was leaving.
All of the politically-minded people in my office have voted already... except for the Kansas people who don't know what they are supposed to do.
A balding creature that use to be much larger in size. It lost a lot of weight through much exercise and now champions other to do the same. It also uses archaic language about making the constitution closer "to God's word". It wants to appear cool and hip, so it plays guitar from time to time. It is vocal about the "Fair Tax", which is essentially a 24% national sales tax replacing the IRS. It uses humor frequently to mask otherwise weak sensibilities (i.e. foreign policy). Huckabee has been rumored to be curtailing the survival of a species called Romneyes, who is Huckabee's fierce rival. At one point Huckabee's numbers had risen, now his survival is unknown.

Yea, I'm really expecting a low turnout in Kansas. I don't think they've had a presidential primary in decades, and they certainly haven't had a caucus. Plus the weather absolutely sucks.
I'm actually expecting a pretty big turnout in Kansas. If you're a Democrat in Kansas, this is your first opportunity to participate in a contested Presidential election of any sort. After years of dutifully voting for a guy that I know has pretty much no hope of getting any electoral votes in KS, I finally get to vote in a meaningful way in selecting the next president. But maybe that's just wishful thinking.
If the turnout is bad, just all the better for me and my candidate!

There was actually about 10 or 12 other people at my voting place this AM. It's really not a well run place, but I do appreciate people making the effort to volunteer for that - when I obviously don't. It just makes me wonder how easy voter fraud could be.
By the way - it's the one at 620 E Armour (some church). I live in 700 W block - I'm a little pissed I have to go that far to vote. I have a car, so it's not a big deal, but that's a bit of a commute on a day like this for someone that doesn't have a car.
How far do most of you have to go?
If it doesn't have street-level retail, it's an abortion.

Same here. I got to to work in KS and people were murmuring "I'm not going to vote, I have no idea what to do..."

But sometimes they don't make sense

There was a pretty good turn out at about 11:00am in Quality Hill today, IMO. While there wasn't a line, there was a constant flow of people coming in to vote. I'd say I saw about 20 people walking in/out for voting in the 5 minutes I was there.

interesting. me and almost 100% of my friends are liberal - even radically so - and zero of us are angst-ridden. there are certainly some angry/whiny people out there, though - of all political stripes.
