I hope it's a large store. That entire corner is looking a little forlorn these days
Started visiting Levi's after it was rumored here. They generally are pretty open/welcoming street fronts. Lots of natural light and windows.

Zara could also be nice for the Plaza but seeing there is no St. Louis location maybe it isn't possible.
My girlfriend would cry tears of joy

I'd love to see a Zara store on the Plaza. The H&M, Forever 21, Old Navy, and B&N spots would make the most sense given how large they typically are.

A piercing studio will open on The Plaza (first location in Missouri/Kansas City region). Rowan is the name.

Despite self describe "high-end" brand persona, this is pretty weak. Not particularly impressed at all.

Didn't realize strang hall was part of the coming Cascade hotel. Fang was talking on another page about the importance of giving local food entrepreneurs low barrier places to test their concepts. Seems like we've actually had quite a number of these places come online recently

Haven't seen it reported here yet, but Zocalo is closing. Manager says there is quite a bit of infrastructure work needing to be completed. In reality their food just pretty much sucks.

Kura Sushi just opened in Philadelphia and it is wildly popular. We're talking 2 hr waits at dinner, a line out the door at lunch. People love it.

Kc star confirms Zocolo closing.

Happy hour there a few times was ok. I don’t think I ever actually ate a meal there.

Haha. A piercing studio. The Plaza's transformation to Metcalf South is almost complete!

Is the vacant gravel lot at the end Nichols Rd on Jefferson St on the same redevelopment timeline as the old Mission Mall site? I haven't heard anything for about a year.

I don't think there's been any announcement. This was the proposed site for the new Nordstrom until they backed out early last year.

Also mentions a Levi’s store.

Supernatural on Westport Road has been doing piercings for 5+ years, that entire tattoo / piercing industry is about to implode on itself anyways. Just build a target already on the plaza or another grocery store besides Gunfresh.

Looks like Dillard's may be moving ahead with a Plaza store: https://www.construction.com/projects/d ... club-plaza

I don't know how credible this filing is, but I wouldn't be surprised if true.

I would hope that the city/Taubman are using this opportunity to review the plan for the site. It's a fantastic location for adding apartments on top of retail while still keeping the concept of the plaza bowl alive. However, if this site is accurate and the valuation is 15-25 million it would not appear they are doing anything more than the store.
