there are only 10,199 cub level seats. So even if ever one of those seats were empty and the rest of the stadium was full you are looking at attendance right around 68K. If a quarter of those club seats were empty then you are looking at attendance around 76K. So the announced attendance of 72k is right in line.

In other words, Grid is full of shit.

They did show stadium shots on TV once in awhile. I have to admit, it looked pretty full to me except for Club Level, which did look conspicuously bare.

I don't listen to much talk radio, any rumors on who the leading candidates might be for the O-Coordinator spot?

The early rumor was Mike McCoy, OC of the Broncos, but they officially retained him today.

Nic Siriani is the internal candidate and is probably a frontrunner at this point.

Al Saunders, who was OC here when Dick Vermeil was here, is out there, but the Raiders are reportedly going to hire him.

And many think that Todd Haley might just appoint an OC he knows and loves - himself.

Well, I got part of my statement right, but for the wrong reason.  I thought the Patriots would be in the Superbowl.

If Pittsburgh makes the Superbowl, there is still an outside shot that Tamba Hali would make the team as an OLB/DE.

And if the Jets make it - Brandon Flowers as CB.

Tamba Hali and Eric Berry added to the Pro Bowl roster. Six Chiefs in all.

Wow.  Eric Berry to the Pro Bowl rookie season could cost the Chiefs some cash down the line, but what a validation for a great pick.

Chiefs promote OL coach Bill Muir to offensive coordinator.

Muir was OC in Tampa Bay from 2002-2008

Chiefs are 30:1 odds to win the 2012 Super Bowl. Assuming it is played.

Kinda Chiefs-related, but Marty Schottenheimer is back - as coach and GM of the Virginia Destroyers of the UFL.
