I know LSP can expand to 25K - but that still seems kind of small for a Farm Aid. Regardless, I'm much more excited about this than I am Kansrocksas.

They don't go on sale until the 20th. Unless you belong to the insider club.  Have we had a closet country fan lurking here all of this time?

I grew up in the country and like the sound of some (mostly classic) country, though my politics differ from a lot of country. I joined Farm Aid solely to buy tickets. It's not that bad of a deal. The membership donation is tax deductible and you don't have to pay any ticketmaster fees.

Isn't Sporting KC supposed to play there on the 13th?  Any idea what's going to happen to that game?

Maybe they'll play that one at the Community America.

I assume that was tongue in cheek?  :D

All of the temporary seating was taken down after the conclusion of last season.

There are more season ticket holders this year than CAB held last year. The game will be moved to another date just like last year a game was moved for the ManU game.

No - not tongue in cheek - just pure ignorance. Didn't know any of that. I didn't see a soccer game there, so I had no idea. Thanks for the info.

Good point - better to give the $40 to Farm Aid than the bastards at Ticket Monster.

I never liked Lance and kind of thought he was a cheater who left his pregnant wife and I also hear is the biggest asshole in the world.  Wonder if these new allegations will hurt the Livestrong Sporting Park.  Maybe we can rename it to the Susan G Komen for the Cure Park?

IMO, it really doesn't matter what happens in his personal life. The stadium is named Livestrong Sporting Park, not Lance Armstrong Park. His charity does great things and I doubt anyone within the organization would even consider a different charity until the current agreement is over.

I'm with you . . . always thought he was a jerk and probably doping. I was disappointed by the name selection - even if it's not *His* name, it gives me heartburn. Worst choice since Paige Arena 8)
