KCMO can't even get a restaurant in it's Crossroads District, because of "parking". Now Caliente Cuban Restaurant is going to Legends. Sad. I would have liked to see it in the Crossroads. I go down there allot. It would have been great to have a diferent place to eat down there. KCMO needs to do something, so they don't lose businesses like this again over parking.

I'm glad to see something original going to the "legends".  Crossroads is already an success with independent retailers.

the eatin' is a helluva lot better in the Xroads than out at Legends.  if you super-imposed a Legends-sized circle over the Xroads region, you'd encircle some of the best, unique bars and restaurants in the city.

justin

the city of kansas city, and downtown, already has more restaurants then vw or legends will ever have, some of which are noted nationwide. i do believe, that celine tao, of the american restaurant, was just named chef of the year, a nationwide honor, which, does not even take into account kitchen managers, and cooks, at chain restaurants, which, is all vw and legends is getting.

glad to see you celebrating week old news all day to day, and double posting it.

Famous Dave's, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Dave and Busters....

I think I know where I'd rather spend my money.

what, justin did not convince you to go to the adult chuck e cheese, dave and busters, because it is so busy? shit, he talked me into it. i am skipping the savoy, 1924, la bodega, and bryants, alltogether, next time i am in town, to go to the legends dave and busters. i cannot wait.

I read the article and I don't think Justin was rubbing anything in.
Look, I PLAY in salsa bands and I wanted this place in the Crossroads as much as anyone.
I know Duffin and was excited about this place.
THIS IS A HUGE LOSS. But I don't blame Justin.

I'm going to visit VW just because of Justin's tireless promotion of the new mecca of the midwest.

If Caliente does work and pull all of the salsa dancers away from the Madrid Theatre. It'll be a blessing.

I think paintfumes is sodomizing Justin in exchange for gold spraypaint!

Hell, I generally think VW is a very positive development and well positioned for success and I have defended it here many times.  However, having to read Justin's obnoxious anti-metro posts has attached a very negative association to the place in my mind.

Last time I dorve out to NFM in September, I felt like I was driving half way to Wichita.  I haven't and won't return to VW for that reason alone.  Justin's lame ass promotion only makes me laugh.

I think a better title would be "Caliente forced to settle for VW after KCMO screws up first choice." Much more accurate.
Are you sure we're talking about the same God here, because yours sounds kind of like a dick.
