Those pucks they put down to "stop" sideshows are all popped up from one snow plow event. What a stupid waste of time and effort those were.

There's still a few down there. And to their credit I haven't heard as many events down there recently.

I can't believe that didn't dawn on anybody putting those down.

City staff said they were very cheap. They ordered 10,000 of them.

Tiny little medians being torn out already and the forms look like a much more substantial replacement median similar to that at 9th and Broadway

you used the word incrementally wrong. that is light years beyond anything in downtown KC

Not seeing it. Seems pretty meh. Either way we need to aim for higher than that.

I’m not seeing a huge difference either. The plaza at 1:08 looked kinda nice but that’s not really a “street” improvement

I think what they have done with High Street in Columbus, Ohio, would be a good example. I would add more planted medians in places where they can be accommodated. Nationwide Boulevard there is also nice.
