For the first time today, permits related to this project started rolling in. Most were related to early site work like grading.

There is a new rendering of this development on the Cityscape website. This is the only one that I could find.

KCTV5 did a recent segment on the residential construction boom downtown. When talking about the Apex/Summit developments, they showed a rendering I don't think I have seen before...but would be great to see downtown. It appears to be retail, and the banner says "Summit at Quality Hill". It is at the two-minute mark.

Should have done my own research before posting....the building appears to be on the southwest corner of 12th & Washington.

Does anyone remember reading or hearing when actual site work would begin on this project? I run by here all the time and I'm pretty sure grass is already starting to fill back up in the groundbreaking ceremony hole.

I'm wondering if the delay has anything to do with all the rain we have been getting, making the ground difficult to work with?

They started tearing out the old parking lots and took a big tree down in the last couple days. Looks like things are underway.

Perhaps there is a pre 1984 photo out there, of the ABC Market that was on this corner.

And I wonder if those partially transparent trees will fair well in this climate.

Took this shot at my West Terrace Park clean up the other day, we're back at it. These apartments are really close to the towers. I hope they change the area for the better, I'm convinced they will.

Heard a rumor last week that the towers have been sold and are being planned for a full renovation.

Anyone able to confirm this is happening?

Some of the Quality Hill units will be ready for occupancy in the summer, he said.
