It's nice walking by this one in the evening and at night. The building has a warm glow to it.

The Plexpod across the street will be transferred to these developers. I know Brain has an office in the building so it makes sense. Existing leases to be honored but Plexpod to cease operations the 29th of Feb

Brain/SDP developed the middle school into Plexpod, who was leasing it from them fwiw. Now Brain is just executing a different office vision for it.

Do the same developers own the former Fast Stop a little further west on 39th?

I believe yes and it’s actively for sale.

On another note, the Oak Street connection to Locust is paved all the way, just the fence hasn’t been removed yet.

Yes, they're looking for a restaurant/fast casual tenant to take over. https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/131-E-3 ... /18045423/

Is that surface lot between the former Fast Stop and the school building going to be resident parking, or will that get developed as well?

That's a good question...it's been a staging area for all the construction equipment ever since they started working on the MIDDLE school, IIRC.
