We have those Shane Co. ads in Denver and I HATE them!  I immediately change the station as soon as I hear, "I'm Tom Shane..."  I can never place his annoying accent.  Is it from eastern MO or the St. Louis area?  It annoys me to no end!

I googled Tom and apparently he's from Utah, and other people hate his nasaly, droning accent too!  But the company is based in Centennial, CO.

Definitely.  The jingle singer is SO impassioned, and has such perfect diction!

I always chuckle at the Weight Loss Surgical Center Jingle:

I can't stand Gail's Harley commercials.

I haven't watched too much TV in the Lawrence market lately, so I don't know if they are still around, but the most amazing local commercials I have ever seen were hands down the Payless Furniture Outlet/Store ads circa 2004/2005.  They often involved flamethrowers, things blowing up, false teeth, children's toys, and too many other strange dada-esque clips to note.  There was also a prices gone wild ad which involved bikini girls pouring diet coke on one another in a baby pool.
