Tampa just did the big announcement this week. There have been a few stops and starts but the new Mayor is supportive of the efforts this time around.

Good to hear. The absolute worst stadium I've ever been to. Sitting directly behind a steel girder at Fenway and not being able to see any of the game was better than Tropicana Field.

According to 610, community meetings open to the public were taking place today (surprised no one on here picked up on it) A local group "KC tenants" peddling some fearmongering about poor people being kicked out their homes and gentrification will ruin everything.

Bill from Independence wants to ask where fans will be able to park and how concerns regarding crime Downtown will be managed.
If the Royals have any sense these forums will be nothing more than lip service.

Can someone there ask if any of the district money is going to fix the streetscape on Cherry? or 12th?
