Besides, they're turd birds! They can't win even if you put them in the MINOR LEAGUES! LOL LMFAO!! OMG!!!111
The NL inferiority to the AL is a long-term trend, probably permanent, I've already explained this to you based on nothing more than Boston-NYY "hogging" all the playoff spots.  I listed this out once, that it's almost impossible to make the playoffs unless you win the AL Central.

You still seem to cling to the notion we belong in the AL.  That's fine.  12-3.

15 games is quite the sample size.

15 years?  Oh, you said 15 games.  Sorry, I mis-read that.

ROYALLY HANDING IT TO THE NL
By Mark Simon, ESPN Research

Maybe the Royals are in the wrong league. They've beaten up the National League during interleague play, going 12-3. That's the most victories by any team in interleague play.

I've wanted te Royals to move to the NL for 10 years.

ok well not sure that's an option from baseball right now...so are just pouting we didn't make the move when we could have?

yes we dominated the nl this year...need to work on keeping it going vs our division.

Yeah - I would rather just see baseball fix the overall situation where certain teams have massive financial advantage - its just a symptom that more of those teams reside in the AL and that two of the biggest money teams in the NL have spent the last couple decades pissing their money down the drain instead of using their advantages effectively.

Actually, not true.  The rumor is, Milwaukee is interested in moving back.  Minnesota is their biggest rival, and they're on the Great Lakes anyway so Cleveland-Det-White Sox would be welcome division foes.

If there's any truth, Glass-Hole needs to be breaking down the doors to move.

sure it is worth looking at.  our overall interleague record is 86-107 so not sure it would make a huge long term difference.  in the cards, cubs league would be fun even though I do prefer AL style baseball.

What is our AL record over that time?

649-937 (.409).  I think that's right.

Vs. (.446) vs. the NL.  Or about 6 games/year.

66-96
72-90

Even more telling are the last four years - .550 vs the NL and .367 vs the AL.  I think the Royals have been slowly improving their talent over the last few years, but the AL Central just keeps getting more difficult - the AL v. NL numbers bear this out.

And I don't dispute that at all. My point is simply that sports is pretty cyclical. The AL Central is fairly tough today. That doesn't mean it will be five years from now.

They used to be pretty cyclical - how often do you really foresee the NYY, BoSox, and Angels sucking in the foreseeable future?  Baseball has become so market dependent, that you can pretty much throw that cyclical business out the window - particularly in the AL.  Tampa is having their best season ever, has done absolutely everything right they possibly can, and still probably aren't even going to manage a wild card birth.  Cyclical my ass.

More than that Lenexa, let's suppose that it WAS cyclical.  That the Yanks/Sox lost their competitive advantage as full rev-sharing hit in 2012.

So what?   KC would be no worse off playing STL, Cubs, Houston & Cinci anyway.   The decision to move really wouldn't be regretted in any way if suddenly, our slave-masters out East were weakened.

Some old fart might be upset, as he reminisces about the Yankees rivalry of the 1970s, as he breathes his oxygen tank at John KNox village.

Yeah but than we would have to watch pitchers bat.  :x  I would rather just see them go ahead and fix the real problem rather than move leagues.  As I said, the imbalance is just a symptom, not the cause.

I hate the pitchers hitting too.  Still, I can't see any reason why our best regional draw (and fan interest) wouldn't rest in a division with STL, Cubs, Cinci, Hou.
