That's only in the loop. They got rid of the density requirement in the Crossroads.

Grayson plans a different $47 million, 190-apartment complex called The 15 at 1525-1531 Holmes St. in the East Crossroads Arts District. The developer also is looking at multifamily projects in the Austin and Dallas metro areas.
Saw this mentioned in this article about the 18th and Lydia apartments in the 18th and Vine district. https://www-bizjournals-com.kclibrary.i ... agues.html

Has it been mentioned on here?

It has been mentioned, but I don't think we have seen any renderings or plans:

The old Rieger space at 1924 Main has a remodel application on Compass for a new restaurant called "Wise Guy". Applicant is Ashley May.

13 townhouses are planned just east of the ArteKC/Artistry project at 19th and Locust (plan is on the southeast corner). UC-B Homebuilders is the developer. HJM Architects is the designer. McClure is the engineer and landscape architect. No indication on whether these will be for-sale or rental.

UC-B has a history of condos. They would sell well, since there's no new supply in this area.

Following these rowhouses. Should have hung a deck out back for more outdoor space.

Perfect scale for East Crossroads. 39 for sale units on a tucked in back street that has been surface parking for years. Gotta luv it!

Does anyone have any update on the 18th and Washington townhomes? Ig it's tech. Westside North but the 35 feels more like a cutoff to a neighborhood than Broadway these days.

Demolition and replacement plan applied fr at 520 Southwest Boulevard. No site plan or firm details yet. Sounds like anther suburban style structure, but hopefully my assumptions are wrong.

Case No. 14307-A - 520 Southwest Boulevard - A commercial lot located on the north side of Southwest Boulevard between West Pennway and Washington Street, to consider a request for a variance to the minimum number of off-street parking spaces required to serve a restaurant use, to allow for the addition of a drive-through window lane, plus any other necessary variances.
Related case. Sounds like a fast-food joint or similar. Lovely.

Would guess like a Scooters drive up only thing. Spot is too tiny for a "typical" surburban drive through place.

It was previously targeted for a Jimmy John's.

Confirmed these are proposed as "for sale".

I can't come up with anything I'd enjoy going in this space. Needs to be combined with another surrounding lot.

Alas, if SW Blvd had a road diet (parking protected bike lanes) and we added some more street trees, the adjacent properties facing the Boulevard are all human scaled. Don't give up hope!

Curious where you're hearing 39 units?
