Re: Chiefs
where is 610 getting this shit? not a whim of it on the national level, i have been all over the internet looking for even a spec of this, NOTHING.
i dont buy it. clark learned from daddy, and is friends with the krafts in new england. if his new high dollar gm wanted the coach gone, he would not stand in the way.

Rumor is the OC for the Pats.mean wrote: Any leads on who Pioli might want to hire? I wouldn't necessarily mind another year of Herm, but if Pioli can pull a Cinderella story with a new coaching staff, then let him.

Pats Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels (who is only 32 years old!) or Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz (who is said to be reluctant to leave Iowa)mean wrote: Any leads on who Pioli might want to hire? Yeah, sorry Herm, but I'd take Pioli + a young, fresh McD--who only orchestrated just about the most effective offense in NFL history in 2007, and then kept it rolling (mostly) in 2008 after his key player got benched for the year--anyday.

Re: Chiefs
I caught "Top Ten Biggest Home Field Advantages" on NFL Network this weekend. Arrowhead was #5 (Lambeau Field was #1, and Mile High Stadium and Oakland Coliseum were higher on the list than Arrowhead). They said Arrowhead would be higher but "the Chiefs have lost three out of five playoff games at Arrowhead." I don't know what was more embarrassing, the fact the Chiefs have lost three of five playoff games at Arrowhead, or that they have only had five playoff games in 35 years at Arrowhead Stadium.

Rumor swirling that Kirk Ferentz may replace Herm Edwards as chiefs Coach. He is good friends with Pioli and worked with him at the Browns when Bellichik (spelling) was the head coach.

Please no. IMO, Ferentz would be worse going forward than Herm.phna wrote: Rumor swirling that Kirk Ferentz may replace Herm Edwards as chiefs Coach. He is good friends with Pioli and worked with him at the Browns when Bellichik (spelling) was the head coach.

Re: Chiefs
four playoff teams left.
and, the chiefs COULD have drafted...................
joe flacco, starting qb, 13-5, of the ravens
ben roethlischoker, was drafted higher than the chiefs went, but were not that much lower.
oh, and we probably couldve got leinart by now too.
but, lets go with thiggy next year, or croyle again. fuck it, right?

Yes, if only the Chiefs had a proven playoff QB like Matt Leinart...kcdcchef wrote: four playoff teams left.
