i am just so suprised that we have not yet heard trade him because we have all these prospects coming up that are better, so since he is not part of the "plan", trade him while he has maximum potential.

like we did last year when teahen tore it up all summer. and of course, now everyone wants to give up on the twenty something teahen and say, yeah, we should have traded him, look at this year................gordon is so much better at 3B then teahen is, we should have ditched mark, yadayadayadayada.

i can hear it now. trade bannister now while he has so much upside, because buckner, lumsden, and hocheaver are waiting in the wings.

It's nice to see Gordon hitting the ball so well. He absolutely crushed the HR that landed in the upper deck.

You always wonder if HS/college hitters can make the transition from metal bats to wood bats. As anybody who has hit with both types knows, hitting with a wood bat is much more difficult.

The Star is reporting that the Royals just called up Hochevar, Brazell, Huber and Paul Phillips. They are saying that he will be working out of the 'pen for the last 4 weeks of the season. Nice to see them pitching him in the bigs before he competes for a starting job next year.

Should be a good game tonight. Zack on the mound and likely BB at first with Sweeney at the DH spot.

Over under on the number of HRs for Brazell while up with the club. I'll start the bidding at 3
