Early Results Indicate Voters Favor KC Stadium Upgrades, Not Rolling Roof
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Early results were split Tuesday on a pair of tax measures to fund upgrades to Kansas City's sports stadiums, with Jackson voters narrowly favoring renovations but -- also narrowly -- opposing a $200 million plan to install a rolling roof at the Truman Sports Complex.

How can you fools not only vote for the renovation of a suburban ball stadium, but not vote in the rolling roof you need to get all of the promised events?!

Congratulations KC, you are on the brink of voting yourselves into permanent second city status.

Jackson County votes for a sales tax on groceries but votes down a tax on businesses?  Scotty must have beemed me into some screwball parallel universe.
