The white jerseys only show which team is the home team. Unless the camrea is on them, you can't really tell on TV who the home team is. But that over-sized Jayhawk tells exactly where the game is, from most camera angles.

That's one thing I hate about KU's court.
I love the ginormous jayhawk center court!!!! =D>

I think they are only adding 3000 seats so 74K ish. It's mainly adding high dollar suites.

Those renderings make it look like a lot more than 3k.

They're very large seats. ;-)

I think the full blown long term plan is to get capacity up in the mid 80's or so. It'll still be middle of the SEC, but in the top 20 biggest in the country.

This says the total capacity when finished will be about 81k.

While it does say SEC very plainly on the field, I can't tell if they are in the SEC or not, no hedges in sight.

Missouri seeks stadium expansion for SEC move
An athletics master plan released by the school on Monday calls for adding at least 6,000 seats at Memorial Stadium, which currently has a capacity of 71,004. The expansion would consist of 5,200 bleacher seats on the stadium's east side and 800 to 900 premium seats, along with new restrooms, lounges and concession stands.
Even with the addition, Missouri still would rank ninth in stadium size among the 14 SEC schools.

It's really cool that Mizzou is using 2 different Kansas City architects for phase 1 of their stadium improvements.

Also, today at 4pm, there will be an announcement about a "major private gift" to the athletic programs.

Always thought it was Faurot Field not Memorial Stadium?

It's both. It has always been Memorial Stadium. But, I think the proper name now is, "Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium." Of course, most people just say Faurot Field.

Mizzou will get a $30-million donation from the Kansas City Sports Trust. Two KC-based architects will be used for phase 1.

It's a trust that has to do with Kansas City and sports. That's about all I know about it. Oh, and I don't think St. Louis has one, so they can suck it.
