No problem. I wish I had tried out my new camera though. But I am still getting use to it. I hope to use my new camera next photo update next weekend.Kard wrote: Dang, Craka--you've been busy. Thanks for the good pics!

I suspect the crane will start building the garage from north to south in that portion of the hole on its way out; otherwise it traps itself in the hole.KCPowercat wrote: wonder what will go down the left (east) side of the block underground.....ramp to the street level?

High...I thought that too but if you look at the webcam that won't be the case...there is already walls on the furthest east portion of the built garage.

I'm going to split the rest of your post into another thread....I think it's a good question I don't want lost here.

Yeah, but there aren't walls at the ends where the cars will access the still to be built eastern-most section. You can see the studs on those walls where the cross pieces will rest for the last stretch. I imagine we will likely see another elevator tower go up somewhere on the east stretch as wellKCPowercat wrote: High...I thought that too but if you look at the webcam that won't be the case...there is already walls on the furthest east portion of the built garage.

I don't think there will be another elevator in this parking garage. As an example. 1201 Walnut's parking garage only has 3 elevators all on one side of the garage. Looking at this elevator shaft, it looks like 2 elevators will be put in.

Re: P&L District: 13th & Walnut Site Proposal
probably not another elevator tower, but definitely some sort of staircase tower, possible two more, on the corners. especially since the 13th street entrance looks to be on the eastern part of the middle of the block.

You're right....now let's get some buildings sprouting up on the west side of the block.LenexatoKCMO wrote: Yeah, but there aren't walls at the ends where the cars will access the still to be built eastern-most section. Looks like they're filling in the area on the east of the hole with cross beams today. Makes me want to go down and take a closer look.

This area will be left hollowed out? seems odd.Kard wrote: Looks like they're filling in the area on the east of the hole with cross beams today.

I would guess there's something under the cross beams. But I can't see what it is.
