Absolutely right on target. I'd expect nothing less from them.

I'm going to laugh my ass off if Case Keenum and the "Chiefs haven't beaten anyone" Texans beat the Pats.

Police said officers have three suspects in custody and are not currently looking for other suspects. None had been formally charged as of just after midnight.

The Denver Post reports there were multiple eyewitnesses.

Police said the incident was called in at 9:55 p.m. and that officers responded to a large fight at Lot F at Sports Authority Field.

The Denver Broncos have won the Lamar Hunt trophy. Think about that.

For the first time in at least a few years, the fashionable pre-season superbowl matchup picks actually made it.

When Manning came back to play after his injury I thought he was a fool. He could have retired with, at that time, a relatively healthy body and probably all the money he would need. Guess his competitive desires were greater than his sensibilities.

Although he has a 5 year contract and is just wrapping up his 2nd year will he retire if the Broncos win?

He was 34th in the NFL in total sacks and had one of, if not arguably the best seasons ever for an NFL QB. His decision could only be based on his body and desire to go out on top. He has little reason to think he is going to be Michael Jordon on the Wizards next year. I remember that John Elway faced a similar decision and went back to back in Superbowls. That would also catch Peyton up with Brady and give him one more Superbowl than his brother, which I don't think can be overlooked.

If I'm Manning, and I'm healthy enough, I don't see how I can retire with all the, "Blah blah Tom Brady is better because he has more rings," talk that goes on.

I do rather wish he'd retire, though.

I think he already said he's coming back next year win or lose.

I think people are going overboard on this Sherman story. It sucks people have to call him a thug and fool for doing that but didn't Muhammad Ali say the same kind of stuff before a boxing match and he is regarded as a role model and inspiration. I think Erin Andrews was unprofessional in that interview and did not handle it well at all.

I think Joe Posanski wrote a good article on this subject http://joeposnanski.com/joeblogs/postgame/
Also here is a little background on Sherman if you didn't know http://www.huffingtonpost.com/isaac-sau ... 31980.html

The guy is a brilliant dude in general, and a hell of a smart football player. I could hardly listen to 610 yesterday, with the fill-ins for the day show just ranting about Sherman. One guy called in and claimed he told his son Sherman was his favorite player right before the outburst, then immediately retracted it. What!? Because he didn't give a bullshit, "We sportsed better than the other team sportsed on this day, they are a good sportsing team but we just outsportsed them." answer? C'maaahn!

"Making it about himself." I'm not even sure what that means, but it sure pisses off media commentators. Personally, I think it's a stupid, meaningless phrase. And who makes it about one player more than the media? BRADY VS MANNING OMG! Hypocrites.

Richard Sherman is so much smarter than the people talking shit about him that it's laughable.
