Brewery Emperial plans to join the East Crossroads brewery boom
Thompson has worked as the brewmaster at McCoy’s Public House since its 1997 opening, but he’s about to make his mark here. You can already see it: a “BE” he has added to one of the windows in white paint. This tagged-up address is the future home of Brewery Emperial, a four-vessel, 15-barrel brewhouse that Thompson says he’ll open in August with Room 39 restaurateur Ted Habiger and friend Rich Kasyjanski.

Why does there have to be a flock of birds in EVERY damn rendering. I'm getting so sick of that.
super happy for this project, although in a weird way I will miss the way that little building looks with the parasitic billboards. Something interesting about that.

We should go out and re-create rendering crowd pictures in developments that have come to fruition.

When I was taking advertising classes in journalism school, we often had to draw people in our ads. This was back in the day when we rendered our ads by hand (no computers).
Anyway, my advertising professor once commented that all the women in my ads looked like Loretta Swit from M*A*S*H.

An empty building or lot is not sad to me. It is opportunity.
Empty is far preferable to a half-assed solution.

the billboard are already gone.
saw a rendering today. they will build a courtyard to the south and some new construction to the north. great project!
