I think AA is going to take a run at MCI-BOS and MCI-JFK (they already have loaded MCI-LGA onto the autumn schedule) as part of their new code-sharing with JetBlue. They also recently announced a joint points promotion with JetBlue that makes additional Boston and New York service appear likely.

Can the airport give Iceland air more incentives? I know it’s usually a 2 year thing that they used up but how long a gap does they have to be until they give them again?

It was a mix of the incentives expiring and the 737max issue that cause them to leave, they were planning on using the 737 Max’s to service a lot of their smaller US destinations. It’s likely that it comes back when air travel returns to pre pandemic levels, think 2023-2024

Do wonder how much if any excess capacity exists at Icelandair now.
Baltimore was relaunched this week for summer 2022. We still have a few months for an announcement

All you need is a big box and a few bottles of water and maybe a bag of chips and all you’ll have to pay is shipping. Bathroom might be an issue though

They have a severe lack of service to the center of the United States. I think they could be a likely candidate to expand network service through KCI once the new terminal is complete.

Nonstops by US-based airline, organized by airline size. Wouldn't take much for JetBlue to have a 2nd or 3rd place presence. Same with Allegiant, they have more flights to Wichita and Springfield than to KC
American: 10
Delta: 8
Southwest: 28
United: 6
Alaska: 2
JetBlue: 2
Spirit: 8
Frontier: 3
Allegiant: 4

Does the JetBlue announcement mean that AA will drop the MCI-BOS service and/ or MCI-LGA service on the schedule this autumn? MCI-BOS is really the hole in the map, as UA will always offer nonstop service to Newark which is a $70 Uber ride into Manhattan and usually takes less than 45 minutes.
