Yeah but are you willing to shell out for the flux-capacitator option? Or the conversion to make it run on trash?KCMax wrote: The only car I would consider buying:

My dad used to say, "don't ever love your car, b/c it will never love you back"
I will buy used till I'm buried. Let some other sap take the depreciation hit the first year or two. I got a 2003 Acura TL with 37K miles for 19K. It was listed for 22K, I said take it or leave it. (The seller took it)
34K new. Why on earth would someone pay that money for that car/

It didn't run on trash, mr. fusion was used to produce the 1.1 gigawatts replacing the uranium. It always ran on gas, thats why they had to hijacked the train.LenexatoKCMO wrote: Yeah but are you willing to shell out for the flux-capacitator option? Or the conversion to make it run on trash?
I shelled out for the flux-capacitator option, it is what makes time travel possible.

Since you now have the wherewithal, can you please go back in time and try to influence the city's action on the south loop, the location of Royal's stadium, and a few other little problems we created for ourselves. While there, put a couple of grand for me on the Chiefs to beat the Vikings in the 1969 superbowl.mayor_of_waldo wrote: It didn't run on trash, mr. fusion was used to produce the 1.1 gigawatts replacing the uranium. Re: Automobiles.
I hate to take this off topic, and I don't know if anyone has addressed this- I just now started readingthis thread and haven't read the whole thing, but dis that article quoted by Chrizow from the WSJ strike anybody else as a contrived political pile of BS? Talking about the incentives as ridiculous (did they consider incentives specifically designed for SUVs to also be ridiculous?) I think you would have to take what they are saying with a huge grain of salt.

I have an 2000 Accord now. The road noise is pretty bad if you plan on making longer trips, make sure you take it out on the highway before purchasing.kcmetro wrote: Thanks for starting this thread Chrizow. I too am looking for a new car. I've been leaning towards an Accord, Camry, or Altima. But I'm also open to any suggestions/experiences anyone has.

How would you like to have one of these??? What's funny is the guy driving this car has safety gear on, but if he actually got into a wreck, he'd be toast regardless.

Re: Automobiles.
I was surprised to find out that my 1989 Dodge Dakota Sport has started to appreciate in value. A couple of years ago it was valued at $200.00 now it is valued at $2000.00. I lucked out on my 94 Taurus SHO. I paid $800.00 for it. it does need some work though. I do need a person with some muscles to break a few bolts loose on the exhaust so I can pull my oil pan off to reatach a piston rod. Through a rod through the oil pan. Block luckily is in excelent shape. If I can get a volunteer to help me I will cook them a meal. I need to get this one on the road asap so I can rebuild the Dakota.
