Chouteau Parkway Transformation to Begin in 2012

They have a suspect truck from a nearby camera. Temporary camera now set up at monument. Permanent cameras will cost around another 50 grand and then there is cost for someone to monitor cameras.

thanks for the update. I assume they have traffic cams located at Chouteau and Parvin that may be able to look into the Park. I also assume the Parks Department may have other cameras setup to watch other parks in KCMO and those have a staff assigned, if not Police assets that monitor. Although I assume the cameras are there to serve as a way to see what happened and not be a tool to respond to things as they occur. $50 grand for security Cameras seems a bit high, maybe getting gouged by contractors knowing they are spending public money?
