That story is like a scene out of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

All that's left of the old hospital is this little stack above occupied condos.

Demo work substantially wrapped up a couple weeks back; perimeter fences are up around the site now and grading is ongoing.

Are they going to keep the tunnel under Baltimore that connects to the parking garage?

It’s moving crazy fast, I’m in that area every day, I’ll try to grab some pictures.

I was running last night around 7PM at Penn Valley and they were still pouring and drilling.

Tower crane up. Now wish the rehab center Ability could build it's new re-oriented entrance on Main, the storage facility on SW corner of Main converted to higher use, and of course the historic properties on NE corner rehabed.

I didn't even expect a crane to show up here, so this was a nice surprise. If it'll be used for the entire project, I wonder if they'll put another one up on the northern end of the site since this crane does not cover the full length of the building. Or maybe they're just using this for podium work (like Tracks 215). Either way, let's enjoy the crane...

It appeared that a second tower crane was rising on the northern end of the site today. That makes 3 in "greater downtown".

these two don't feel like they should count as tower cranes given it's repairs.

Looks like it is moving at a good clip. Unusual for recent developments. I guess when you’re not being sued you can get work done 😀
