Why do they have offices at CC when they own Russell Stover?

No joke, my husband walked over there from his office at Shook to see what they had. He ended up buying a bunch of white dishware and as we were pulling off the stickers to put them in the dishwasher we noticed that the dishes are all from World Market Guess if any of them break, we can walk down to Westport to replace them.FangKC wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 9:05 pm The last Function Junction store, at Crown Center, will close after 47 years.

Such a bummer. This store has been a staple for us in the 20 years we've lived downtown.

She didn't want (additional) investors, at least in the 1980s. My Dad and Uncle both inquired. At one time, I think there were five or six branch stores in the region, but between The Internet/ Amazon plus the bricks & mortar category killer (Williams Sonoma), I think Function Junction could not grow further.
Kansas City is fortunate to have another great, local store in this same general category: Pryde's Old Westport.
