so how many are Kauffman Stadium or Bust no matter who pays for the new ballpark or where it's located?

This won’t be close. As I said, 35% for the Yes’s will be a good showing.

Independence votes now in for JaxCo (you would expect them to be strongly against).

Seems like high numbers for it to be the initial results. I assume this is final KCMO results

KCTV5 has the No’s with an 8k vote lead. I suspect that will be insurmountable and will continue to get bigger.

I fucking hate this car brained city. Where will we park?!?! Can't wait to retire and leave. Build it at the legends so I can easily park... Puke...

Unless the polling is vastly different in East Village, I don’t see why the Royals would waste everyone’s time on doing a second vote with a margin this big. You’re not flipping 15-20k voters at another special election, it’s just not happening.

More in KCMO. Up to 24% turnout, likely final.

They have to find a way to do this without a vote. This city is so so fucked if this doesn't happen.

So strange how Jackson County and KCMO have different election boards. But also makes sense considering KCMO is in 4 different counties. Also pretty impressive that KC has more voters turning out than the rest of Jackson County.

When does the shady mail-in ballot scheme get started?

Do the “better plan” people actually think the Royals are going to come back and ask again after this?

Well, the Royals are gone for sure, just like they wanted. 50 years was a good run, I guess, for a small town.

I put it about 15% that the Royals try again. This is a pretty strong referendum.
