Danny boy-you just don't "get it"-don't you see the sarcasm in the "honey?"StL_Dan wrote: I'm pissed cuz nota hasn't called me "honey" yet and I'm not cheffy's favorite suburbadroid poster.
I'm still wondering what a suburbadroid is. I dont' know whether to be insulted or not. Do you know?

it was really one of my first PM's EVER!
as far as a meetup, i'm there.
i'll drag critical mass there too.
he has been on a mission to make sure everyone in the forum knows my first and last name, what i look like, newspaper arcticles in the richmond times dispatch, washington post, new york times, he has wanted real badly to get that info out to everyone on the forum. not really sure why. it irritates the hell out of me because this is SUPPOSED to be an anonymous forum, however, bahua muted him over it, so, i am happy, however, i really have nothing to hide, so, i am not sure what exactly he is gaining from it, not to mention, there are more people on this forum that know who i am versus who do not know. so, again, the point, i am not sure.Beermo wrote: anyone else get pm's from this nutbag?

"Suburbadroid" is definitely NOT a complimentary term. It is used by members of this forum to describe parking lot lagoon loving, petro guzzling SUV driving soccer moms and antenna heads who have an insatiable appeitite for chain restaurants and live in cul de sac starter castles.

It WAS on topic, honey. NOTA would whip Michael's tiny hiney in a Steel Cage Match, and make him eat a flourless chocolate pate, made in south of 95th ST Johnson County and served on mismatched mikasa just for the occasion.tat2kc wrote: can we please stay on TOPIC

Not the most fluid of written rants, but funny nonetheless....honey.bbqboy wrote: It WAS on topic, honey. Let's see-of those descriptions, I drive an SUV. Beyond that, I don't qualify. It must be a term used by a city bigot. But I have broad shoulders. I can take the insults.StL_Dan wrote:

I've decided I'd like to meet KCDevin. It seems we share a "Doomster" outlook on environmental issues. It might be nice to have yet another young, like-minded person to commiserate with.

Re: Who In The Forum Would You Like To Meet In-Person?
Grid is someone I've always wanted to meet. Most the others are not really on here anymore, from what I know. Nick Benjamin would be on my list as well, but I'm not sure whether he still visits.
Re: Who In The Forum Would You Like To Meet In-Person?
I would LOVE to put a face to some of the names on here but that would mean me not being able to offer input anymore.
I still talk to Nick Benjamin all the time and do some consulting work with him. He loves to talk development.
