Yes I know lol. But which of those are new, and not returning?
Long Beach is the only brand new route. The rest were all served previously.
So how to flights compare to pre covid flights? Are flights even back up to what they were pre covid yet? I know there are less flights to DCA and BWI which really sucks for me. I feel like SW used to fly from MCI to PHL too but no longer does.
Also, why doesn't SW have flights to places like Tulsa, Little Rock, OKC etc. I feel like I flew from KC to those cities when I lived there on SW. MCI needs to get back to being a reginal focus city for Southwest.
Doesn't answer your specific question but seems like good news regarding pre-covid discussion

I think they are getting close, but still slightly under. They used to have N/S to both Tulsa and OKC but those went away once the Wright Amendment expired and you could fly direct from KC to DAL, prior to Tulsa and OKC were just a stopping point before going to DAL. WN hasn’t ever flow to Little Rock or PHL from KC. DCA is slot controlled and BWI tends to fluctuate from 1-3/day
Above pre-covid, but I think it's going to take a bit to get this supply and demand thing back in order across the country, plus with a new terminal. There have been weird pilot shortages and problems with certain metal causing airlines to prioritize certain routes (depending on each airline too).
I'm not sure we'll know for a bit how this sorts out.

I mean the pilot shortages aren't weird, we know what caused them with the early retirement stuff.
Yeah I meant weird to the extent they're putting pilots where they want to the extent possible. Regionals are getting cut, pilots are moving around. It's weird in that way.
Getting some insight on ground transportation, from RideKC. Would like to see some holistic messaging from the airport. Maps, etc.
Buses will pick up and drop off passengers at the lower level for commercial vehicles, including parking shuttles and car rental shuttles. RideKC buses will board at sign post 2A. This stop will be on the east end of the lower level terminal pick-up and drop-off lane. This is the same level as the baggage claim at the new terminal. The stop is on the outside lane; there are crosswalks with traffic signals for pedestrian safety. Maps of the stop at the terminal will be provided on our website prior to Feb. 28.

The food options look light years better than the old terminal. Can’t wait for more photos and to try it out myself early March!
Yes, management was terrible with regards to the old terminal. It's a shame they tried so hard to degrade it.

Where did you want them to put better.food.options, outside?
Went through the new terminal. Came out really nice. Any complaints or reservations I had about it are gone, so I'm happy about it. Ran into Brian Platt, Justin Meyer, and Kevin Collison. I'll post some photos here, but you can see a ton more in my Flickr Album here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAs8hg
This looks awesome. Looks really sleek and super modern. The City Market angle is such a nice touch. I truly don't understand why some people were shitting on this airport at all before it was even opened or built.
