It'd be nice to get it on March 3rd because Big 12 tournament starts on the 8th. Any later and some visitors will the airport possibly.

Some good B roll footage here. You can see some areas are nearly complete.

Looks great. I'm not sure I understand the fountains. Can you see those from the roads?WoodDraw wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 11:14 am https://youtu.be/O0mFbN9yTvU

Yeah I don't get the use case for that whole north courtyard.GRID wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 12:29 pmLooks great. I'm not sure I understand the fountains. Can you see those from the roads?WoodDraw wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 11:14 am https://youtu.be/O0mFbN9yTvU

Has a touch of the "we promised fountains but cut the indoor one" to it, but I don't knowKCPowercat wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 12:42 pmYeah I don't get the use case for that whole north courtyard.GRID wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 12:29 pmLooks great. Have to keep an eye on the space between the people mover and the windows. I bet that gets really trashy quickly.

Every person I talk to about the person just refuses to believe that when the new airport opens, B & C aren't going to close at all. Everyone think this is just basically another terminal added next to B & C.

Really? Those I’ve spoken to make it seem like it’s well understood that the “new” airport is a replacement

One terminal is being kept though, right? For smaller airlines/regional traffic? Or maybe I misunderstood.

Re: OFFICIAL - New KCI Terminal
Ah, I misunderstood. Is there maybe a long transition period where major airlines move first and smaller/regional move later? Or is it all at once opening day. I haven't been following this aspect.

The north courtyard will look nice as waiting for bags I just can't ever imagine why I'd walk out there.
Is that where the future APM may begin at the departure level? Maybe it's just a placeholder for that function.

I wonder how much they'll be able to deaden the noise out there. It sure doesn't take much for an airplane less than 500 feet away to cause an audible ruckus.

Any outdoor space I’ve seen at an airport is taken over by smokers.KCPowercat wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 3:42 pm The north courtyard will look nice as waiting for bags I just can't ever imagine why I'd walk out there.
