What does "Non-signatory carrier is signing on" mean and why would it concern JetBlue? Could it mean a whole new airline is coming instead?normalthings wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 5:47 pm5th Agreement:Anthony_Hugo98 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 4:38 pmWhat does that mean?normalthings wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 4:35 pm 5th Amendment to current ULA and 1st Amendment to the new ULA are on docket this week

The airlines signed the new agreement back in 2019 and JetBlue announced service in 2021.trexel94 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 11:40 pmWhat does "Non-signatory carrier is signing on" mean and why would it concern JetBlue? The three discount carriers all declined to sign term sheets back then so it's unlikely to be them. That makes JetBlue the most logical.

Yes. Other airports I follow updated their ULA after the airline announced service, some months later.WoodDraw wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 12:40 amThe airlines signed the new agreement back in 2019 and JetBlue announced service in 2021.trexel94 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 11:40 pmWhat does "Non-signatory carrier is signing on" mean and why would it concern JetBlue? It is either Spirit or JetBlue.

Is this something you saw publicly or through the grapevine?

There's a media tour going on today. I heard it from someone that was involved, but I don't think it's private information.KCPowercat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 4:11 pm Is this something you saw publicly or through the grapevine?

Re: OFFICIAL - New KCI Terminal
Can confirm it's almost certain the new terminal opens early -- likely Jan/Feb as of now. Leading up to that there will be three separate grand opening events targeting specific audiences.

From the user that was linked. Sounds exactly as advertised. I think the status report all have the 1st or 2nd week of March.I’d say… late February is a gamble but early to mid-March is a lock

Dumb from the new terminal PR side, but GD the old terminal is just a shit hole now. Can't wait to never fly out of their again.

Re: OFFICIAL - New KCI Terminal
March 3 is the official opening date as of now so not sure where this "mid-march" is coming from if the media reports today of opening early are in the cards.
Seems with all the parties those logistics are already set and hard to move the date but maybe not.

Re: OFFICIAL - New KCI Terminal
I have a flight already close to the new opening. Said it before and say it again I'd love to fly out of the old one last time and into the new.
