Auntie Ann and Cinnabon plans filed
Seriously, are you joking?
What's your beef? Almost all of the concessions are local brands that will likely be more expensive than conventional chains. It'll be nice to have a couple well known standbys.
Especially for anyone that’s ever traveled with kids?
“Would you like to go to made in kc? Something from Martin city brewing? Perhaps a taste of Brasil?” *high pitched screaming*
It’s okay to have some chains people, especially if you have any desire to be a connecting terminal.

I would rather have Starbucks, McD, etc. but yes I am serious

Id rather throw out annie anns for something else (mcds would be fine) but I love having Cinnabon. Need a good mix of national and local.

I agree this is important to us, and it should be, but I can’t remember the name of a single place I’ve been in an airport other than kci.
Just gotta get the mix right.
At this point I’m reserving judgement on everything until I can walk through it myself. But it seems okay!
What's wrong with having a few standards like Auntie Anne's, Starbuck's or BK included in the mix? Ever been to Newark terminal C? Only 4-5 recognizable national chains out of nearly 50 and not everyone wants to take a flyer on an $18 burger from a celebrity (known only in NYC circles) chef. A family of 4 needs a Wendy's for the times when they have a 5-6 hour layover or delay and don't want to spend $100+ navigating through online ordering and massive wait times. And non-English speakers don't always want to try and figure out what burnt ends and hasbrown casserole are.
Who cares if there's a chain like McD's thrown in if there are a signficant number of local places? And personally, I'd rather get a slice from Sbarro than Minsky's.
