This Forum Is Difficult to Access

Post by Kaye »

Does anyone have any idea as to why this forum is so difficult to post replies in after a registered member changes his or her password?

For several months now, I have been unable to access the 'post a reply' or 'new topic' sections of this website after just changing my password. As a result, in order to participate in this forum, I've had to re-register and change my user name and password along with supplying a different e-mail address. Talk about tedious!

I would appreciate any input.

please just contact me before creating new usernames....it can be much easier solved than that.

Anybody else experienced this? After you change your password, you will need to log in with the new password in order to reply but that should be it. I'll do some testing.

I just created an account, logged in, was able to post a reply. I then went into my profile, changed the password, came back to the site and was instantly able to post another reply.

Maybe I'm not understanding the issue.

it could be because it was a problem in the old version, and since now you're using a new one it's not an issue.....
KC Region is all part of the same animal regardless of state and county lines.
Think on the Regional scale.

I didn't change my password via the profile link but instead clicked on 'forgot password'. Following this, I accessed my e-mail account to retrieve the new password given by the website. I clicked on the link provided by kcskyscrapers and tried logging in with my usual user name and new password but could never post a reply after logging on. I have an MSN TV appliance and not a regular computer.

Also, I did try contacting the website and left a message before I changed my user name but didn't receive any feedback.
