I’m with kcp on this. The first thing you see at the old terminals should be huge coming soon displays. People might forgive how shit the current one is if they see we’re working on it.

I think it’s past time to put out a proper terminal map. Even if they can’t announce who is where, we can fill that in.

Delta Sky Club has a $10 million permit out for it

Delta's 20k sqft Atlanta club cost $33 million but also includes adding a new 3rd floor above the existing terminal. We are not too far off in cost

Just left kci. Not one piece of propaganda pointing to a new terminal. Even on electronic ad boards that could easily throw in a pic. Just a silly unforced error.

Lots of natural light for a calm energy. MCI is gonna be fine. As a matter of fact its probably okay to have low expectations because its a pretty basic airport that just uses good materials and is a complete upgrade for the cities future. Whose to say in 15-25 years they don't level the old terminals for an expansion, would be sweet if we had a separate terminal for international flights one day. As a frequent flyer Im just happy to have something that doesn't feel slightly embarrassing every time I fly back home. This will accomplish that and probably a lot more.

Airports are constantly under construction anyways, so no reason KCI won’t immediately start changing once it’s open

STL is completing a FAA required master plan update. STL has planned a new single terminal for a while, it was in the 2012 plan too
They are 10-15 years out.
