This is what that building looked like in 1940. The photo is showing the south wall and looking west towards Central from 19th Street.
Remove the bricks from the windows, install historically accurate windows, and remove the gray paint.Just those three things would truly make the building shine. Maybe even consider removing the extra bricks at the garage door to make it more accurate
There is a new permit/plan filling for the building that was supposed to get a vertical addition. Same architect is listed but I'm not sure what this is for.
