Wish there was more photos of the project. What I’ve seen so far looks pretty great.

I see some staycations in the future between this and the convention hotel.

The CitySceneKC piece was telling: We should collectively anticipate a re-negotiation on many projects; based on the market conditions.

It is simply a buyers' market; to some extent. Signs of this were already discussed concerning 3-Light project...

Interest rates have dropped making many projects possible now.

Hotel KC looks nice lit up at night like this. I don't really know if this is new or not, but it makes the building stand out a bit.

I agree-beautiful! Now if we could get more of the historic building owners to do something similar our already attractive skyline would look even better. Whichever firm did their lighting is really good. Oh to see Oak Tower restored & lit in this way vs. it’s current ugly visual state.

According to the Hotel KC Facebook, the restaurant will be called, "The Town Company".

A restored Oak Tower with a modern exterior lighting system would be like a brand new building suddenly appearing in the skyline

Permit to stabilize the building to the north has been approved. This is needed before the demo of the garage building can commence.

Which garage building is being demolished? The Club Garage (~3ish-level tan building) or the Muehlebach Garage (~7ish-level red building)?

Is this going to stay an empty lot or are there plans for another garage/building here. This may be outlined in the thread but it's simpler to just ask. Thanks
