I don't think the STL project will happen but that's not the point. This sort of plan would look great at the Rivefront. However, I think that I'd rather see RF built out quickly with 7-11 floor buildings than slowly with highrises.
I'm not disagreeing but this is where code runes into reality. There's no enough parking to meet code.normalthings wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 3:26 am

Ideally, if we expand the streetcar to the Riverfront, that solves a lot of the parking problem.flyingember wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 3:19 pmI'm not disagreeing but this is where code runes into reality. There's no enough parking to meet code.normalthings wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 3:26 am

We're in an era where we can't let perfect be the enemy of good. What we shouldn't accept is good when we can get very good.
The railroads are a much bigger problem. They both own such a large row that even with a street grid you wouldn’t see development along them.

Parcel 7 is towards the northeast corner of the park. These are the volley courts so it’s possibly just a lease to KC Crewnormalthings wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 2:49 pmI dont think its marked but it is what was on the agenda.Critical_Mass wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:01 pmwhich one was parcel 7?normalthings wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 12:00 pm - Port KC Commissioners board gave final approval for Northpoint's "Berkley Riverfront Apartments" project.
