The quote says "the buildings will step down with the incline". "with". So, I read that to mean the step down will occur as the building progresses up the incline. Not the other way around.

I don't think so, unless the phrase is completely wrong.

Here's actual steps on an incline

But those are steps going up with the incline. It says the building will step down with the incline.

My understanding is it will be tallest at the W end of development and shorter at E end. Surprised no updated renderings out yet.

Is this the latest rendering as it is still circulating. Sounds like it will be taller West and step down more to East...

It's a nice looking building design. Looking forward to seeing it go up.

Love all the glass on the lower floors - will really bring some 'action' to the buildings. I can't help but think the NIMBYs in Parkway Towers across the street will still be fuming about the loss of their views when they see the renderings.

They are very nice buildings. I know one concern for people will be that there is no Spanish features to match the plaza.

I agree with this. I'm all for 'less is more,' but some minor aesthetic nods to the Spanish style in the area would improve the design. They are two quality designs though in my opinion.

From the traffic control permit, it sounds like demo & infastructure work will happen shortly with phase 2 (I assume actual construction) starting early next year.

Nice. Are they keeping the apartment buildings to the west?
