Then they can get concessions on that other project, and I’d hope the neighborhood would use this project against them. But this one is already permitted, bid, and past laying foundations. If the rendering set that was posted was truly from the 9th, then (in my experience) the neighborhood likely missed its enforcement window on this specific project.

That said, I’d love to be proven wrong.

What project would that be? I’d like to know where I can provide feedback.

zoomed in on this rendering and find it mildly interesting that what looked to be patios inside the frame on some of the units appear to actually be bottom-half glass walls with some kind of a sliding door or window, effectively creating a huge opening for fresh air into the living space. i haven't paid a ton of attention to functioning window openings when i've looked at some of the newer builds/conversions, but this seems unique.

The new hotel looks handsome there. It'll complement the skyline nicely when illuminated.

The red building with the light green paint past the workers is a two floor building.
the grey building, the green sign is at floor 2.5 (half floor at street level)
the building barely in view to the north past the orange fencing is one floor

It's most likely the 3rd floor since there's no elevator or stairwell shaft in view like we can see on an earlier image and they already did the columns to support three.

it can't be taller for the angles to work

A guy named James Wehmueller posted some today. The link is here. He has some good photos of Downtown.

Stunning. Now that the usual KCRAG photographers are gone, I dub you the new official photographer.
