Ugh. Some dude bought it from the Leedys, kicked everyone out and has clearly failed at this renovation.
There was work going on at this site today. Maybe it's not a lost cause.
We now know what is going into 1919 Wyandotte.
Westport sneaker, streetwear boutique moving to the Crossroads
Four-and-a-half years after opening in Westport, Volume 1ne is ready to relocate.
The sneaker and streetwear boutique has closed shop at 427 Westport Road and plans to relocate to 1919 Wyandotte St. in the Crossroads. Flying Pig Local Mercantile formerly occupied the space.
Volume 1ne owner Justin Ji purchased the two-floor 6,000-square-foot building in 2017. His shop will be on the first floor and he is looking at other possible tenants for the rest of the space.
Unless they've made some amazing progress since that photo was taken I don't see September happening at all. (It seems like most places around here end up about 4-6 months off from their planned opening dates.)
went by today, building exterior looks done...didn't peak inside but farm to market bakery tweeted their sign is up inside.

ParlorKC has been posting a lot of progress pics and stories to their instagram. It looks like they've gotten a lot of the interior done, murals, bar, restaurant spaces, etc., and are doing the finishing touches.

if it is dog friendly, they've lost a customer.
You can't -- and shouldn't -- bring dogs inside a food prep area. This place has seven kitchens. Dogs on outdoor patios -- which Parlor doesn't have -- are being discussed in KCMO.
i figured that (or something like it) was the rule, but never had a dog before so i'm starting from scratch on this.
for some reason i thought i saw early promo hype about an outdoor patio, but that was probably just the rooftop patio now that i'm looking at the website again.
I managed to slip in for a quick tour of Parlor.
The finishes are easily twice as nice as any food hall I have seen, or anticipated.
The menu's look very appealing.
Friday nights after work, this place is going to be slammed.....

I am so pleased with the quality of the offerings. Not a dud in the group!
