FWIW, the cordish site already calls for (yet another) coworking space and "cafe" to come to Two Light:

That's a little bit outdated. The co-working space is off the table, for now.....
do you know if any retail or office space is planned still for 3 and 4 light?

Concerning that the prime NW corner site at 14th/Main still not leased out yet after all these years, especially given the streetcar stop basically across the street and movie theater. Thinking I recall something about Mexican restaurant a year ago (corporate gringo mex would imagine), must have fallen through.

I'm still a fan of a tv studio going in there and I think a high end greek place would do well with P&L crowds...and something we don't have at all in KC.

But not while the community continues to pick up the tab for shortfalls. Also, vacant storefronts detract from walkability. Fill them with active uses. You all spend way too much time crafting the perfect environment when that's not what people like about cities.

I keep telling our director of leasing I'd love to see a great Mexican place go in there. I think for anyone local, it's a bit intimidating because it's a raw space. Dirt floors and a blank space, so the cost to buildout may be too much for anyone besides a national chain with deep pockets and the ability to sign a 10 year deal.
Bring Mi Cocina back to the KC market. Would kill it at that location.

I'd like to see more retail in P&L. I love the Rally House addition. A destination, accessible brand like Zara would be ideal. Not sure how much retail square footage is available however, and would assume that any significant retail tenant is still unwilling to even kick the tires on downtown/xroads KC, despite the "OMG gentrification and luxury condos" narrative.

Didn't think the one on the plaza was all that great. Would probably kill there though.

Mi Cocina was great. Their drinks were pricey but packed a helluva a punch. The margaritas, mambo taxis and mambo limos were very good icey concoctions that would give you a head ache if you drank them too fast and then knock you on your ass. 2 was just right and 3 were way too many. Their food was decent, portions were Texas-sized and their tamales were some of the best that I've ever had – and I've had a lot. I miss them!

Just hearing the name Mi Cosina gave me a hangover headache. They had a drambui margarita that would stab you in the back.

Maybe Port Fonda would like to escape the Bill Nigro hijinx in westport and decamp to that beautiful corner, right on the streetcar line.

I only ate at Mi Cocina once, but I found it to be like a somewhat more expensive and similarly mediocre version of Chuy's except with far more pretentious aspirations of fanciness. It always seemed really busy though, so I'm not sure why they didn't stick around.

I'd give up my left one for a Zara at P&L ... or anywhere downtown.
