I think this is going to be a nice hotel. It reminds me of something fancy in Vegas. I hope they plan to put colored flood lights on the outside.

Lots of progress on the site today....Concrete foundation going in on the south side of the project and two new Bay Cranes have popped up too. This thing should be vertical in a few months if not sooner.

No way they start doing any kind of steel work in a few months. They have a solid 4-5 months left I bet of foundations/underground work before they can do anything else like steel. The foundations always take a long time.grecobs wrote:Lots of progress on the site today....Concrete foundation going in on the south side of the project and two new Bay Cranes have popped up too. The schedule calls for the guest tower to be topped out a year from now.

They have been working everyday of the week and late into the night( I saw them out at 12am once). Sewer and water pipes went in weeks ago. Power switched and such are also in place already. I would. It be surprised if the pour the foundation soon.jasty5 wrote:No way they start doing any kind of steel work in a few months. Vegas?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????Darlene wrote:I think this is going to be a nice hotel. It reminds me of something fancy in Vegas. I hope they plan to put colored flood lights on the outside.
It doesn't even come close. It's only 800 rooms. Need to be at least 4,000 rooms or more to be Vagas. For the most part it looks like it is going to be generic hotel that can be found in any other city. Does it have an Eiffel Tower? Does it look like a Pyramid as the Luxor? Does it look like a Caesar's Palace? Or so many others like the Venetian, like Treasure Island to name a few.

There's a pyramid hotel/casino in Vegas that has a piece of the Titanic's side for some reason.aknowledgeableperson wrote:That's down in Branson.TheLastGentleman wrote:Yes, but it would also have a slab of the TitanicJBmidtown wrote:

Does anyone remember where the original link came from? I've tried looking it up for people through google but it doesn't come up. The only way to get to it seems to be typing the URL in verbatim
