Thank goodness, I would have voted no if there was any talk of single track.

Project advancing to 30% design. Will probably apply for the TIGER/BUILD grant program again, especially since it was boosted to $1.5 billion by Congress (despite Trump's efforts to dismantle).

Excellent idea... if the casino provides some direct equity or covers some operational cost for an extended period of time. I'm told the Port will take ownership of the underlying property from the city, so that should make development of the adjacent surface parking into something cool a lot easier.ldai_phs wrote:What do you think about such extension?DaveKCMO wrote:Yes.WoodDraw wrote:

Applying for another BUILD grant (previously known as TIGER). Still advancing to 30% design.

Is there a guide somewhere that defines each percentage level in layman’s terms?DaveKCMO wrote:Applying for another BUILD grant (previously known as TIGER). Still advancing to 30% design.

60 - Roughly good enough to get a general idea of the final concept and ROUGH costs.
90 - Roughly good enough to begin construction and get the majority of what is planned to occur in the real world.

Under the FY 2018 Appropriations Act, the DOT must make awards by December 18, 2018.KCTOGA wrote:what is the time frame that we would find out about the BUILD grant?
