Crazy to think what that was before. Cheers to the city for fixing that cluster.

some friends are staying at this place so i had a chance to see a room and the common areas. it's all very nice inside, but doesn't make up for the horrendous ground-floor experience. looks like they're still working on the "east wing" guest rooms as it was all blocked off. front desk said they were fully booked last weekend.

If we want to be a great city, we cannot keep allowing this to happen. A city is not just about "density".DaveKCMO wrote: it's all very nice inside, but doesn't make up for the horrendous ground-floor experience.

that project wouldn't be allowed in that form if it were proposed today. it's amazing how quickly things have changed.AlbertHammond wrote:If we want to be a great city, we cannot keep allowing this to happen. Allowing what to happen? Making the ground floor use better would theoretically increase density.AlbertHammond wrote:If we want to be a great city, we cannot keep allowing this to happen.
